Preston - Concrete Pool & Spa.

This Preston project centred on a concrete pool and spa for a residential property where the brief was deliberately restrained, a pool that integrates with the home without competing with it.

The design focused on proportion and placement. The pool and spa were resolved as a single composition, positioned to maintain clear circulation through the yard while making the most of the available space.

The architecture of the home called for clean lines and a material palette that didn't introduce unnecessary contrast. The pool responds to that rectangular in form, considered in its relationship to the surrounding paving and garden edge.

Where simplicity is the brief, the detail work matters more. Edge alignment, coping profiles and finish quality are where this kind of project is won or lost.

A straightforward pool design is not a simple pool to build well. Achieving a clean, flat plane across coping, water level and surrounding paving requires careful setting out from the start, particularly where the pool needs to read as part of the home rather than separate from it.

The Preston build was managed in-house across every stage, with the same team responsible for excavation, structure, tiling and commissioning.

Delivered entirely in-house across all stages of the build. Particular attention was given to edge alignment, finish consistency and the integration of the spa into the overall pool layout.

The project was handed over complete - no additional trades required on site after commissioning.
