Project Overview
This project was designed to create a stronger connection between the home, the pool and the surrounding landscape.
By positioning the pool along the edge of the site and integrating a spa within the overall composition, the design creates a calm and balanced outdoor space that feels both functional and visually resolved.
Design Intent
The design centres on creating a seamless relationship between the water, the home and the broader outlook.
The infinity edge allows the pool to visually extend into the surrounding landscape, reinforcing a sense of openness and calm while giving the pool a stronger architectural presence.
The spa is integrated into the overall layout so both elements feel connected, balanced and aligned with the home.
RESPONDING TO THE Landscape
The site presented an opportunity to use the pool as a framing element within the broader outdoor environment.
Rather than competing with the landscape, the design was developed to sit lightly within it, using the infinity edge to strengthen the visual connection to the outlook and create a more cohesive overall composition.
This approach allows the pool to feel integrated with the setting rather than introduced as a separate feature.
Construction and Delivery
Delivered entirely in-house, the project was carefully managed across each stage of the build to ensure the infinity detail, spa integration and surrounding finishes were resolved with precision.
Particular attention was given to edge alignment, transitions between elements and the overall visual balance of the finished pool.
