Elwood - Concrete Pool & Spa.

This project was designed to create a cohesive outdoor space where the pool and spa form part of the overall architectural composition of the home.

The layout balances functionality with a refined, understated design approach, ensuring the space supports both everyday use and more considered entertaining.

The design focuses on achieving a strong relationship between the home, the pool and the surrounding outdoor environment.

Rather than introducing a dominant feature, the pool and spa are positioned and proportioned to feel integrated within the overall layout, allowing the space to feel calm, balanced and cohesive.

Careful attention was given to materials, levels and transitions to ensure a refined and consistent outcome.

A key focus of the project was ensuring the pool feels like a natural extension of the home rather than a separate outdoor feature.

The layout, levels and material transitions were carefully resolved to align with the architecture, creating a seamless flow between indoor and outdoor spaces.

This approach allows the pool to enhance the overall experience of the home without disrupting its balance or intent.

Delivered entirely in-house, the project was carefully managed across each stage of the build to ensure consistency, clarity and alignment with the design intent.

Particular attention was given to detailing, finishes and the relationship between elements, resulting in a clean and well-resolved final outcome.
