Kilsyth infinity edge concrete pool by Fine Art Pools

DESIGNED TO INTEGRATE WITH THE LANDSCAPE

Infinity Edge Pools in Melbourne.

CUSTOM CONCRETE INFINITY POOLS DESIGNED TO MERGE WITH THE LANDSCAPE, HORIZON AND ARCHITECTURE OF YOUR HOME AND SITE.

Infinity Edge Pools

The effect is achieved through precise hydraulic engineering, where water flows over the edge into a concealed catch basin before being recirculated back into the pool.

At Fine Art Pools, we design and build each infinity pool from the ground up, working through site levels, structural requirements and landscape integration before a single form is poured.

The result is a pool that feels less like an addition to the property, and more like it was always meant to be there.

ENGINEERED TO THE EDGE

Engineered To Disappear.

Infinity edge pools require a higher level of precision during construction than a standard pool. The catch basin must be correctly sized, the hydraulics properly balanced, and the edge levelled to within millimetres.
We manage this process in-house - from initial site assessment through to engineering, construction and handover.

FREQUENTLY ASKED

Common Questions

What is an infinity edge pool?
An infinity edge (or vanishing edge) pool has one or more edges designed so water flows over, creating the illusion of merging with the horizon. The overflow is captured in a catch basin and recirculated back into the pool.
Where do infinity pools work best?
They work best on sloping blocks or elevated sites where the pool edge frames a view. With the right design, they can also be built on flat sites with considered landscape surrounds.
Are infinity edge pools more expensive to build?
Yes- the hydraulic engineering, catch basin and precision required during construction add to cost. We provide a clear breakdown at the quoting stage.
Can I have an infinity pool on a flat block?
Yes. While the visual effect is strongest on a sloping site, infinity edges can work on flat blocks with the right surrounding hardscape and landscape.
What does ongoing maintenance involve?
Day-to-day maintenance is similar to a standard pool. The catch basin and secondary pump require periodic inspection- we cover this in full at handover.
