Yes. Concrete is porous, which means it needs a waterproof membrane covering to prevent water from seeping into the pool’s structure.
Yes. Any pool or spa with a depth greater than 30cm must have a safety barrier restricting access.
No. Given the difference in size and water temperature, a pool needs different chemicals from a spa.
How many jets they each need depends on their sizes. As a rule, pools need at least two jets, a spa more. For example, a 6-8 person spa usually requires 6-8 jets.
Yes. The difference in the plumbing between a pool and a spa means that each requires a different pump to function correctly.
Yes. Most pool/spa combinations use one pool equipment set to run both. This equipment uses valving to isolate and distribute the water as required. In larger commercial setups, the pool and spa have their own equipment.
